Jakamo Limited announced free Jakamo licenses for all education and research organisations. Jakamo service as a cross-company cooperation platform has also become a significant solution for many universities. Research groups typically use Jakamo in development projects for information sharing and collaboration with the partner companies.
“We recognised that research groups started to utilize Jakamo together with the development partners – companies. Thereafter, the educators and students have also become Jakamo users. We are happy to give a free licence for students, educators and researchers. Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) utilizes Jakamo on Project Workshop -course. This particular course has received lot of acknowledgements and awards. “Jakamo gathers our students, researchers and teachers in the same platform with the companies that are participating in our development projects. It’s a great tool to establish real and real-time environment for company-university cooperation”, says Kimmo Kitinoja, teacher from SeAMK.
