The year 2022 was supposed to be about getting used to the new normal – the post-covid era. The new normal was expected to be adapting to multi-location hybrid working with the help of digital tools. Industrial companies struggled with new challenges in supply chains, such as new sustainability requirements, poor availability of materials, and difficulties in forecasting.
However, the horrible war in Ukraine drastically changed the world order and caused a massive humanitarian crisis. The expected post-covid era changed dramatically because the war affected businesses in all industries. The political environment became even more unstable, we faced record-high inflation and drifted into an energy crisis.
Despite all the disruptions, the year 2022 was very forward-thinking for Jakamoers and Jakamo as a company. We were busy during the whole year and managed to achieve the main targets that we set together at the beginning of the year. Let’s have a look at some interesting numbers!
In 2022, Jakamo reached a 44 % growth in revenue. In total, revenue was 1 150 000 €. The Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) continued on the growth path as well and grew by 58 % during the last year. ARR covered over 87 % of Jakamo’s whole turnover.
From Northern Europe, we welcomed several new customers, such as ABB Smart Power, Alfa Laval, Haldex, Hydoring, Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe, Pivatic, Raute, Skoda Transtech, and many more great manufacturing companies.
For our customers, we released several new features to our standard product. Good examples of these are Advanced Shipping Notice (ASN), a new version of the Forecasting App, new BI APIs for Claims and Master Data, and new capabilities for the order- and order confirmation process such as the delivery split feature.
One of Jakamo’s top priorities has always been service level and service readiness. In 2022, Jakamo’s uptime was 99,99 %, the third year in a row. The Churn Rate of non-leaving enterprise customers was 0 %, the second year in a row. These figures encourage us to continue on our service-engaged path.
At the beginning of the year 2022, we unleashed our new organizational model to provide a way towards exceptional employee experience. In Jakamo the leadership is democratized, the decision-making is decentralized, the work is coordinated by autonomous cells, and each employee has their own personally picked coach. We celebrate diversity and boost inclusive and caring culture. We have strong commonly agreed values and a sustainable mindset of growth. At the end of the year, Jakamo’s Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) was 93. An epic score, isn’t it?
We succeed to recruit new talents to fill the various positions in our team. Jakamo’s personnel grew by 43 %. Today we have a 20-person Jakamo-team that is committed to developing true supplier experience and delivering excellent customer value.
At this point in the year, our entire team is fully engaged in creating new value for Jakamo’s customers. We thank all our users, customers, partners, supporters, and everyone who has been part of our journey so far. We are excited to see what 2023 will bring!
