Last week, Jakamo had the pleasure of hosting the Make in Finland Ecosystem’s Sustainability Experts Network at our office in Tampere. The group consisted of sustainability experts and leaders from some of prominent manufacturing companies, bringing together a strong mix of perspectives and hands-on experience.
The session focused on Supply Chain Sustainability, with a special emphasis on tools for collecting upstream item data related to Scope 3 emissions. The discussions were highly insightful and refreshingly practical. Key topics included:
- Comprehensive data collection covering environmental responsibility, trade compliance, and social responsibility
- Emerging legislative requirements such as EUDR and CBAM
- How to motivate and train suppliers to adopt data collection and calculation tools
- Effective methods for validating supplier data
